Would getting ddr3 video card be ok?

i'm upgrading my video card. My system right now has ddr2 memory but the card i'm getting is 8800 gt ddr3. Will it still work? Also another question. Is there any way you can change the ddr2 to ddr3? thanks.|||Yes, the system will adapt it, just make sure u have the right slot for the card. No for the second question, DDR2 can not change into DDR3, it is different memory RAM, but they are still both RAM.
