Can you use DDR3 video card on a this motherboard?

http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2824015&CatId=2414|||No your motherboard is not sutible|||yes|||Yes, this is an advanced motherboard and supports video cards with DDR3 memory. Do this: Go to the link and click on the Detailed Specs. Read down the list and make sure to go all the way to where the photos are located where it discusses video cards. It states right there that this motherboard supports the latest video cards, and the latest video cards have DDR3 memory. So, you are good to go.

What you are doing is one of the best ways to know what you can put on a particular motherboard. However, do yourself one better and download the manual which goes with this motherboard. They are free to download, and then you can read to your hearts content what it can use.

That is what my husband and I do before we choose a motherboard and while we pick our parts. We have yet to come across any compatibility issues since we smarted up and download the motherboard manuals.

Good luck and much success building your system, please have a nice day.|||yes you can|||yes it will work|||don;t get confused with the graphics card memory and the motherboard memory. video cards use Gddr and has no relation whatsoever with the motherboard memory (RAM) support that is ddr (no G). as long as the video card has the same interface with the video card you are buying and make sure your power supply can handle the video card and of course, the whole PC.
