Will Bioshock run smoothly with 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT-DDR3 Video Card?

Is this graphics card:

256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT-DDR3

going to be enought to run Bioshock smoothly?

At least at medium/low detail?

I have more than enough CPU and RAM power to run it I'm just not sure if this card will do it.|||Minimum Requirements

----------------------------------

CPU - Pentium 4 2.4GHz Single Core processor

System RAM - 1GB

Video Card - Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 128MB RAM (NVIDIA 6600 or better/ATI X1300 or better, excluding ATI X1550).

Recommended Requirements

--------------------------------------…

CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo processor

System RAM - 2GB

Video card - DX9 - Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512MB RAM (NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GT or better) / DX10 - NVIDIA GeForce 8600 or better

You're good to go but might have to back off on the highest graphics details just a little because you only have 256mb video ram.

Turn anti-aliasing off. Studies shows that people can't even tell if it's on or not when you are at high resolution.

#|||That card should be fine.|||of course! you only need about 125 from what i know.|||this really depends on the resolution you plan on playing at. if you are playing at 1280x1024 or higher, I would doubt you could get anything over 40fps. If you are me, I have a nice cpu and ram and a 512mb card and I cant play with my monitor because of the resolution at 1920x1200 smoothly at least.
