bought a graphics card, 9600 GT DDR3. when I plug it in on my board it won't work. why?|||You might need to boot into BIOS and disable your P5L MX's 945G onboard graphics first.
If your motherboard's onboard graphics is still active, your 9600GT may not work.|||If it requires a power connector from the power supply, did you connect one? Did you load, or download the video card driver?|||It should work because P5L-MX has a x16 PCIe slot. If not, 6-pin PCIe power connector may not be properly plugged in to the card OR power supply is inadequate for the 9600GT.
