About ddr3 video card.?

Is it ok to put Palit geforce 9800GT 1gb 256bit gddr3 to my ddr2 motherboard with pcie 16x slot?|||yup, video ram specs are not related to system board standards of memory...hell you could even put a gddr5 card in there if you want
